A complete plan for managing your arthritis will include an array of therapies and treatments.

These will often include oral medicines, topical medicines, and even some medicines injected directly into the joint.

At Lake Champlain Imaging, our fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist will use X-ray Fluoroscopy to guide the needle safely into your joint to deliver the needed medicine.

Typical injected medicines include corticosteroids(steroids) and Hyaluronic Acid(HA), a natural lubricant.

We also offer joint aspiration to remove some fluid from the joint to ease swelling and pressure.
